Illumination Street is a community minded arts program that gives artists of diverse backgrounds and experience levels a chance to participat in fun art shows. It’s also an opportunity for artist to serve and be served through the poverty outreach of Mosaic Community Development.

This unique arts program has periodic silent art auctions in order to fund raise for Illumination Street Workshops and MCD and to give local artist a venue in which to display their work. All auctions are at the Mosaic Community Center, 1258 S. 13th Street. Omaha NE 68108. Art not sold may be left on the walls of MCD to be displayed for the community as a temporary gallery.

Illumination Street consists not only of silent auctions but hope to start community art workshops in the up coming months. MCD and Illuminations Street has a goal of bridging people of all backgrounds together through strong relationship and common interests.
